I bought this item ignoring all the horrible reviews about it. My friend said she saw it work like a charm, and I trusted her. I tried it out on my arm at first and it worked really well. It left that part of my arm hairless and smooth. Then I tried it on my upper lip. It took me forever to get all the hair and when I was done it left my lip in such pain I would prefer waxing or an epilator. It hurt for the rest of the day and was bright red. Then the next day, it scabbed over. I think the pad was bad from scrubbing that little spot of hair off my arm, and when I used it on my face it took off skin rather than hair. I should of listened to the reviews and not bought sandpaper for hair remover. If you insist on ignoring this review, then save yourself some money and just buy sandpaper from Lowes.
