How do hair removal creams / shower gels work?
I mean what is the science behind it and how does it actually remove the hair? I don’t want to wax because I always end up having ingrowing hair. Will hair removal cream also cause ingrowing hair? What are the negative side effects that hair removal cream has because I read that it screws up your skin?

Some of them do work, like Nair. But it depends on the type you purchase. If you have sensitive skin, then yes, it could screw up your skin. Just make sure you get a sensitive kind that is meant for the body part you are removing hair on. The negative side effects are that it could burn for a little while and maybe cause a rash. I have never heard of it causing ingrown hair, but it shouldn’t.

I use veet or Nair and they are both wonderful. I have very sensitive skin, but i am totally fine with them, dont use them under your arms. that hurt! lol! it wont cause ingrowing har coz basically you are scraping off all the hairs at the root!
