@jahotgal01 Unfortunately it is not effective on dark skin because the light is attracted to the dark pigment and it will burn your skin, as opposed to just the hair follicle.

I don’t think it’s your skin color that matters as Pedofailed suggested…I think (if it didn’t work on you) it would be because blacks have courser hair and this device probably isn’t strong enough for course hair.
Who knows, though! It might work for you :)
